How To Search Messages

The 'Search' window lets you search the entire group for a string. Searches can include perl regex wildcards, eg:

        Search: UNC                  -- Search for 'UNC' anywhere in messages
        Search: Subject:.*UNC        -- Search 'Subject' lines for 'UNC'
        Search: From:.*Fred          -- All messages from 'Fred'
        

How To Keyboard Navigate

It may not be inherently obvious that you can use the keyboard to navigate through this newsreader, assuming you have a sufficently modern web browser that allows keyboard navigation of URLs (Mozilla, Explorer, etc).

To Keyboard Navigate

• click on any thread to read that message.
• To read the next message, hit Tab then Enter. Repeat as necessary.
• To read messages in reverse, use Shift-Tab then Enter.
• The 'Tab' key should move the focus box from one link to the next, and the enter key should 'click' on that link.
