Hmm, interesting idea, but currently the only control is the "Start Irush?" in the submit forms which lets you set either 'yes', 'no' or 'ask'; 'yes' -- always open a new irush (default) 'no' -- never open a new irush 'ask' -- prompts whether to start irush or not The "Start Irush?" prompt is at the bottom of the 'Rush' tab in all the submit forms, near the 'Retries' and 'Retry Behavior' prompts. It's certainly doable to have it detect if irush is already running by walking the process table. But I don't like the odd cases where irush might be running, but not visible to the current user because it's showing on a different desktop. e.g. with Xwindows, irush might be running but showing on a remote X window or separate desk (many folks use multiple desks under linux) or on remote desktop logged in by the same user. I think Windows and OSX can have similar issues (remote desktops and "switch user") -- Greg Ercolano, erco@(email surpressed) Rush Render Queue, http://seriss.com/rush/ Tel: (Tel# suppressed) Fax: (Tel# suppressed) Cel: (Tel# suppressed) |
