Is there a way to purge jobs that are permanently stuck in the render queue? We have tried dumping and downing it, yet it still sits there. Any ideas? |

Any ideas? Really; "down" doesn't clear it? Can you include the output of: rush -lj <thejobid> rush -lf <thejobid> rush -lc <thejobid> rush -dump -fu <thejobid> rush -down <jobidhostname> <stuckframehostname> ..where <jobidhostname> is the hostname part of the jobid in question, and <stuckframehostname> is the hostname of the machine with the stuck frame. Assuming the above doesn't work, and you can provide the above info here, what should work for sure is to: 1) stop the daemon on the jobid server 2) Edit the rush/var/jobs-checkpoint file, find the jobid in question, and remove all the lines pertaining to that job 3) restart the dameon ..this will definitely get rid of the job. In step #2, you can also just completely remove the jobs-checkpoint file, which will cause all the jobs that machine was managing to be cleared. -- Greg Ercolano, erco@(email surpressed) Rush Render Queue, http://seriss.com/rush/ Tel: (Tel# suppressed) Fax: (Tel# suppressed) Cel: (Tel# suppressed) |
