This from the folks at Clear Ltd.. If you're installing Rush on Redhat Enterprise 4 (RHEL-4), sounds like you'll need to install the compatibility libraries, specifically: compat-libstdc++-33-3.2.3-47.3.i386.rpm Otherwise you may get a library error: /usr/local/rush/bin/rushd: error while loading shared libraries: libstdc++.so.5: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory I believe installing the compatibility libraries is an option during the install of the OS. I normally install them because sometimes other 3rd party programs need them. I've added this info to the Linux install instructions (step9), and to the Administration FAQ. |
