Does anyone know how the Shave and a Haircut plug-ins work in Rush? or do they work in Rush? |

LAff wrote: Does anyone know how the Shave and a Haircut plug-ins work in Rush? or do they work in Rush? First I've heard anyone ask.. I would assume if they are plugins into softimage/maya, and can be invoked by regular command line rendering of those packages, then it should work fine with little or no modification of the script. (The only mods I can think of would be the possible need to specify PLUGIN environment variables that point the renderer at where shave+haircut is installed) Assuming it pops no guis during rendering, there shouldn't be a problem. -- Greg Ercolano, erco@(email surpressed) Rush Render Queue, http://seriss.com/rush/ Tel: (Tel# suppressed) Cel: (Tel# suppressed) Fax: (Tel# suppressed) |

Yeah, we use it here no problems. Due to the licensing we don't have it on all render nodes, so we have a separate +shave group.
